Jay brings over 20 years of experience across Algal Labs based right here in Chicago's Back of the Yards,, MycoCycle, and Okomwrks, where he worked as a bioprocessing engineer and production assistant., his career has centered on engineering lab spaces where chemistry and biology meet — designing the systems that make cultivation possible at scale.
His technical foundation carries directly into his work at MEFT Labs, where he leads on climate control, systems design, and process efficiency across our environmental growing systems. Jay's ability to blend engineering, biology, and chemistry makes him a vital part of how we grow — turning complex science into systems that work, day in and day out.
