Mother Earth Father Time Labs

Cultivating people’s relationships with nature’s medicines.

M.E.F.T. grow gourmet, specialty, and experimental mushrooms with a focus on quality, consistency, and indoor innovation.

M.E.F.T. brings mushroom growing into high school classrooms through hands-on learning, kits, demonstrations, and curriculum-friendly programs.

Who Are We

A Mushroom Company Built for More Than One Harvest.

M.E.F.T. Labs is being built around the full potential of fungi. We cultivate a wide range of mushrooms, work toward indoor production of difficult species such as morels and chicken of the woods, develop extract processes using bioreactor technology, and bring hands-on mushroom education into classrooms. As the company grows, our long-term roadmap includes legally compliant research partnerships and future clinical-study involvement where appropriate.

M.E.F.T. Labs cultivates mushrooms across the gourmet, specialty, and experimental spectrum. Our work includes common culinary mushrooms, hard-to-grow species, and long-term indoor cultivation goals. Two of our most ambitious targets are indoor morel cultivation and indoor chicken of the woods cultivation.

Have a mushroom product idea? Lets talk through what it could become

M.E.F.T. Labs is building toward a full line of mushroom-based products, but our Products page is also where new ideas and partnerships begin. Whether you are interested in future M.E.F.T. Labs offerings, custom mushroom product development, grow kit concepts, specialty mushroom supply, extract process discussions, educational product ideas, or a serious business proposition, this page explains the different ways we can collaborate. We are currently using this space to collect inquiries, explore product concepts, and connect with people who want help turning a mushroom-based idea into something real.

Behind the workbench is a large device with a metal grille and a wooden top, resembling an experimental setup or a piece of lab equipment. The background shows a room with chairs, cabinets, and shelves with various objects.

M.E.F.T. Labs helps students experience biology, ecology, agriculture, and biotechnology through fungi. Our classroom programs are designed for high schools and educational groups that want a hands-on way to teach scientific observation, life cycles, decomposition, cultivation, food systems, and lab thinking.
