Anthony Milewski
Anthony Milewski is a mycologist who talks to fungi for a living and, more often than not, gets a useful answer back. As co-founder of M.E.F.T Labs and Parow Entheobiosciences, he's spent the better part of a decade coaxing rare compounds out of even rarer mushrooms — running a licensed cultivation and extraction facility, partnering with Hadassah BrainLabs on early clinical trials, and helping develop one of the first cell-based methods for producing a notoriously finicky natural compound. Along the way he picked up a National Science Foundation grant to lead an indoor morel cultivation project, because apparently regular mushrooms needed his attention too.
Raised by first-generation immigrants and, by his own account, "birthed by free spirits," Anthony brings an unusual mix of scrappy self-reliance and genuine reverence for the natural world to everything he builds. He's spent years working alongside people on deeply personal healing journeys, which has left him with equal parts scientific rigor and moral seriousness about what this work is actually for. These days, at M.E.F.T Labs, he's chasing down native fungi and the compounds hiding inside them — still convinced nature is smarter than we give it credit for.
